Did you know 30% of residents in RVA volunteer -this is more than any of our peer regions. We were so happy to partner with Hands On to bring our resources to help their Power of Good Volunteer Thank You Celebration. Over 300 volunteers were recognized for their work across the priority areas. There were so many fun activities like a Polaroid red carpet picture experience, word searches for the priority areas, mapping service across the region, and writing intentions in a community arts activity. How do you power good? As you go about your day, think about how you and your colleagues are moving the needle in your field and share it with us on social media. If you work with volunteers, take time to thank them for their dedication and passion!
